Rivers of Hope Ministries Back to School Giveaway is an annual event hosted in early August of each year where we hand out backpacks and school supplies to children in need. At our 2024 event, we also hosted a Book Fair and the children chose two books of their choice.

Help Us Prepare 125 Local Children for a Successful School Year
4th Annual Back-to-School Giveaway & Book Fair
Every child deserves to begin the school year feeling confident, prepared, and excited to learn. Unfortunately, many families in our community struggle to afford the basic school supplies their children need.
This year, Rivers of Hope Ministries is preparing backpacks for 125 local children, but we need your help to make it happen.
On Saturday, August 8, 2026, we’ll be providing FREE backpacks, school supplies, children’s books, and children’s clothing to families in need during our 4th Annual Back-to-School Giveaway & Book Fair.

Every donation, no matter the size, helps a child walk into school equipped for success.

Your monetary donation allows us to purchase the supplies we still need and helps ensure every child receives a fully stocked backpack.
For approximately the cost of lunch, you can help a child start the school year prepared.
